Weekly Mercy Memo 03.01.17

A message from our principal, Mrs. Anne Knapke

Dear Gwynedd-Mercy Academy Family and Friends,

It was a delight to attend last night's Winter Band and Choral Concert!  We have such talented students and wonderful performing arts instructors.  Thank you, Ms. Lisa Tierney and Mr. Derrick Banks, for your leadership.

Next week, we look forward to the much anticipated visit of children's author, Jacqueline Davies, who is best known for titles such as Where the Ground Meets the Sky, The Boy Who Drew Birds, and The Lemonade Series, just to name a few.  She will be visiting GMA on Tuesday, March 7th, thanks to the GMA Parents' Organization, and will be leading four different workshops tailored to the reading and writing levels of our students.

Finally, in honor of Trustees Day, the faculty and staff look forward to welcoming our Board of Trustees tomorrow afternoon for a reception in our library.  Our Board of Trustees, made up of dedicated lay and religious men and women with diverse backgrounds, dedicates its time, talent, and treasure to help steward GMA's mission of mercy and excellence.  For this, we are truly grateful.

Lent is the time for greater love, listen to Jesus' thirst...

~Blessed Mother Teresa

In Christ's love and mercy,

Anne W. Knapke, M.Ed.

Principal
