Admissions

We appreciate your interest in Gwynedd-Mercy Academy and are always happy to welcome new families into our school community.  The admissions process might begin when a parent files a preliminary application to get on the list for kindergarten three years in the future, when the parent of an older child parents visits one of our open houses to explore a new educational option or when a preschool parent visits our website after seeing an article about one of our events in the local newspaper. 

As a K-8 school with nearly 500 students, Gwynedd-Mercy Academy fills three new kindergarten classes each year, but also accepts students in the older grades on a space available basis.  Throughout the school year, we have three open houses scheduled to accommodate prospective families, and our admissions office is always happy to respond to any questions.

After the admissions screening process is completed, and a child is accepted into Gwynedd-Mercy Academy for the upcoming school year, each family is paired with a host family that will be available to answer questions, and extend the hand of Mercy hospitality.
