Businesses are offered an opportunity to support Gwynedd-Mercy Academy students through Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit. These scholarship contributions are made through the generous tax credits of eligible businesses. This is a way for businesses to help Gwynedd-Mercy Academy Elementary students in our local community.
Repeat and Renewal Applications for the EITC/OSTC programs are accepted
A wonderful way to help Philadelphia-area families provide a safe, quality Catholic education is through the Pennsylvania EITC/OSTC Tax Credit Programs. These programs allow businesses to direct their tax dollars to need based K-12 scholarships.
One year donors can receive a 75% Pennsylvania state tax credit and those committing to two years can receive a 90% tax credit, all while supporting families who wish to provide a Catholic education for their children but may not be able to afford to do so.
It is easy to register for the EITC/OSTC programs, the one-page electronic application is now available on-line from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development atwww.newpa.com or our experienced development team can submit the application for you.
Once your application is approved, make your gift to BLOCS within 60 days. Tax credits are awarded to companies on a first come first serve basis.
