Gwynedd Legacy of Mercy Nomination
The Board of Trustees is proud to open nominations for the 2025 Gwynedd Legacy of Mercy Awards. This biennial honor recognizes Alumni, Faculty and Staff, and Friends of Gwynedd-Mercy Academy Elementary who truly embody the core values of Mercy in their everyday lives. Alumni, parents, faculty, students, and friends of Gwynedd Mercy Academy Elementary may nominate any persons in the categories noted below. You may not nominate yourself and no current member of the Board of Trustees may be nominated. The Board of Trustees will select the candidates to be inducted into the Gwynedd Legacy of Mercy.
Award recipients are individuals who have made a lasting impact on our school community by advancing the Mission of Mercy Education and nominees should exemplify its core values:

Compelled by Mercy: Living with compassion, empathy, and a desire to respond to the needs of others, especially the most vulnerable.

Educational Courage: Encouraging intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and academic excellence, even in the face of challenges.

Inspired by Faith: Grounding actions in a deep faith and spiritual tradition, promoting reflection and connection with God.

Principled Leadership: Developing leaders who act with integrity, responsibility, and a commitment to ethical decision-making.

A Voice for Dignity and Respect: Advocating for human dignity, inclusion, and respect for all people, especially the marginalized.

Nominations from previous years are always considered by our Board of Trustees committee. If you have made a nomination previously, it is not necessary for you to resubmit that nominee, they will be automatically reconsidered.
All nominations must be submitted by June 30, 2025.
