Uniform Code

All required clothing uniform elements must be purchased from FlynnO'Hara. Shoes can be purchased at the shoe store of your choice. Shoes are available at FlynnO'Hara or Flocco's Shoes. We have been notified that the brown Merrell Moc style shoes for boys are only available at Flocco's Shoes this year.

All school uniform jumpers and kilts (i.e., skirts) must be worn with either FlynnO'Hara black spandex short, navy poly spandex leggings or navy tights.
Fine gauge sweaters and vests are now included in sweater options.

Used school uniform items in good, useable condition are also for sale several times during the school year. For information on the Used Uniform Sale please email emiller@gmaelem.org.

PreK students wear gym uniforms each day throughout the year.

Gwynedd-Mercy Academy Uniform Code
Boys and Girls in PreK Gym Uniform for K-8 students on physical education class days.	All students in grades K-8 are required to wear gym uniforms on their Physical Education and Health days. There will be no changing from summer or winter uniforms for students in any grades. Gray t-shirt with GMA logo and navy mesh shorts with GMA logo. White socks and sneakers which fasten securely with laces or Velcro. Gray sweatshirts with GMA logo and navy blue sweatpants with GMA logo are required for students in grades PreK-8. During winter uniforms, all students are required to wear the FlynnO'Hara GMA logoed navy sweatpants on physical education days. Students may wear the GMA gym uniform shorts underneath their GMA logoed sweatpants but are not required to wear the shorts.

Hair and Jewelry Code

Hair Codes - For both boys and girls, extremes in hairstyles, hair ornaments or hair coloring are not acceptable. Boys' hair length is to be no longer than the top of the shirt color in the back and the eyebrows in the front. All students' hair must be well-groomed.
Jewelry, Hair Accessories and Make-up - Students may wear a medal and chain, a small ring, a watch and a single bracelet. Girls may a single pair of post or small hoop earrings (no larger than 1/2" in diameter) and may not wear dangling earrings or any other jewelry that poses a safety concern. Hair accessories should be understated and match school uniform colors. Makeup is not permitted in grades PreK-5. Understated/natural makeup for cover up purposes is permitted for grades 6-8. All other makeup (including eye makeup) is prohibited. Students may wear solid, subdued, neutral-colored or clear nail polish only. Middle school students (grades 6-8) may wear subdued, neutral colored nail polish.
