PreK Preschool Program

Admissions Process

Process for Pre-K Applicants

Application: Applications to Gwynedd-Mercy Academy Elementary are submitted online. Once the application is completed the child is entered into the admission process and applicant pool for our Pre-K(4) class. The family will hear from the Director of Admissions after the application has been processed to review the admissions process.
School Information and Virtual Interview: The Director of Admissions will be available to talk with parent(s) to regarding the school program, curriculum and pre-enrollment screening. She will also set up a Zoom virtual meeting with the student. We expect that the applying family will have the opportunity to tour the school during the summer months if they have not already done so.
Pre-K Readiness Form: A Pre-K Readiness form, completed by a prior preschool teacher, is required for the 2021-2022 school year.
Pre-enrollment Screening: A third-party screening is required of all applicants. This screening assesses pre-academic skills.
Registration: After a child is accepted to Gwynedd-Mercy Academy Elementary parents will receive a letter of acceptance and a formal registration form In addition to the registration form, parents are asked to submit a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 which is applied to tuition.
