Campus Life

Nurturing the Whole Child at Gwynedd-Mercy Academy

At Gwynedd-Mercy Academy, we’re committed to nurturing every student’s potential, guiding them to become compassionate leaders who embody the Mercy values. Our dynamic, culturally enriched academic program is designed to help students grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally, preparing them to lead and make a meaningful impact in the world.

Leadership & Service

Leadership is at the heart of student life. Through our Student Council and the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), students gain opportunities to lead, collaborate, and give back to the community. The NJHS fosters the values of scholarship, leadership, and service, with members also supporting their peers through our Study Buddy Program.

Activities & Enrichment

Our activities go beyond the classroom to inspire students and enhance their academic journey. From the GMA Today Broadcast Team and Mercy Outreach projects to Mathletes and the Reading Olympics, students have many ways to get involved, learn new skills, and make lasting memories. Our Quest After-School Program, which features a wide variety of activities offered on a trimester basis, from LEGO Masters, to Mermaid Art Studio to Chess, and Wiffle Ball, give students the chance to experiement with new interests and engage with other students across grade levels. The After-School Dance Program, for students in grades K-5, takes place over the school  year and culminates in a spring evening dance recital.

Creative Expression & Performance

Creativity is an essential part of our curriculum. Students enjoy classes in music, art, creative movement, have across the curriculum public speaking opportunities, and also have access to private lessons in piano, voice, dance, and band instruments. Our students shine during performances such as the Kindergarten Graduation,  first grade's "A Great Day in Bethlehem," Winter and Spring Fine Arts Programs, and the annual theater-quality school musical for grades 7–8.

Athletics & Teamwork

Gwynedd-Mercy Academy offers a variety of after-school sports for students in grades K-8, as part of the Catholic Academy League. Whether it’s Cross Country, Soccer, Field Hockey, Flag Football, VolleyballBasketball, Swimming, Lacrosse, Baseball, or Softball, our athletic programs encourage teamwork, physical fitness, and good sportsmanship.
