My family will be attending GMA's Class of 2020 Graduation on June 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM. I understand the following terms and conditions that are required of our attendance. All members of our party will comply with these stipulations.

In order for the graduate and guests to participate in any part of the graduation festivities, including both the indoor ceremony and outdoor picture, each member of your party must adhere to the following protocols:

  • Must have a temperature below 100.4
  • Must wear a mask
  • Must practice social distancing guidelines
  • Must not be experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, which includes cough, chills, muscle pain, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, sore throat, and new loss of taste or smell
  • Must not have experienced flu-like symptoms in the last 14 days
  • Must not have had close contact with or cared for someone being tested for or diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days
  • Must not have been in contact with anyone who has returned from international travel within the last 14 days

In order to comply with social restrictions mandated by the Pennsylvania government and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, we will be following the guidelines below:

  • Each family group (including the graduate) will have an assigned seating area
  • Masks must be worn as you enter the church and during the mass except to receive Holy Communion, speaking at the lecturn or when each graduate receives his or her diploma
  • When moving to the front to accept diplomas or awards, graduates are to wear their masks until they have passed the pews and then they may remove their masks to pick up their award or diploma and be photographed or keep the mask on if more comfortable
  • Please wash your hands and sanitize before arrival
  • Please bring your own sanitizer for personal use
  • Restrooms and water fountains are not available for use
  • The kneelers will not be used
  • Please refrain from singing and enjoy the cantor and liturgical music meditatively
  • There will be no contact during the Sign of Peace or holding hands during the Our Father
  • If you are receiving communion, please use one single file line to approach and return, keeping 6 feet from the person in front of you
  • Communion should be received in the hand, however, reception of the Eucharist is optional and not required
  • Please do not leave anything in the pews...tissue, booklets, etc.
  • We have hired a videographer to film the graduation which will be distributed to each family - all family members are to remain seated during graduation
  • There is to be no congregating outside of church before or after the graduation liturgy
